Celebrate 100 years of the Girl Scout movement with an event for over 8,000 girls on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Girls, their friends and families, are invited to share in a day of celebrating the worlds of Girl Scouting through historical displays, exploring ways to take action to be good stewards of the environment, and getting active! Community partners and local businesses will supply activities and educational materials for the girls. Council service units will have booths that both entertain and teach the girls about many aspects of Girl Scouting. The highlight of the day will be the SURPRISE main stage entertainment that will encourage girls to sing and cheer for 100 years of Girl Scouts!
